Abstract

It has been a year now, since the emergence of COVID-19 and almost all corners have been hardly struck by this particular virus. Crores of people are infected and lakhs of them lost their life. Different strategies have been developed and many more new approaches are on its way for the prevention of this ongoing pandemic. However, Re-infection of individuals succeeding their prior infection has put on the gravity as well the extremity of this viral disease thereby necessitating the high need for being more vigilant and mindful. Details about re-infection, causes, person’s immunity, risk factors associated with it as well some of the safety valve and forward outlook on this particular zoonotic disease have been incorporated in this paper.
